DeWayne's Nursery was established in the fall of 1976 on what was a small dairy farm. There were very few trees on the property at that time but over the years DeWayne has changed the landscape in a big way.

Twenty acres of land was developed into a sod farm in 1983. That same year DeWayne started his nursery business and his first greenhouse went up. In 1986 the big red barn was renovated and became a gift shop.

There was a major setback in 1995 when a fire totally destroyed the barn, but DeWayne didn't give up. The gift shop was totally rebuilt, a new floral business was added and he put up a new greenhouse.

DeWayne is always improving the nursery with constant additions to his Dewey doers list. This year on his list: To construct a new potting shed, build a shack for new product sales, new tables in some of the greenhouses, a new shade area for perennials and putting up two new greenhouses. When this portion of the list is completed there will be a total of eight greenhouses.

DeWayne is proud to say that he has just completed his 32nd year in the landscape business and would like to Thank everyone for doing business with him through the years.
